Wikipedia defines a buzzword as ” a word or phrase, new or already existing, that becomes popular for a period of time.” Where these buzzwords come from and from which technical terms they are derived is often lost in our fast-moving times. Most of the original technical meaning is quickly lost and many terms are artificially shortened and sometimes even become misleading.
Furthermore, the user of buzzwords is said to use these fashion terms only to impress others. There is certainly some truth to that. But of course, every discipline also has a kind of technical language. This is also the case in change management as well as in the innovation industry.
What is the buzz about innovation about?
Be that as it may, we have taken it upon ourselves to comment on both the most common and the more unusual buzzwords from the world of innovation and transformation. Our goal is to briefly rediscover the original semantic meaning of these buzzwords and to present our perspective on them. We will update this wiki regularly.
We also look forward to comments and specific requests from you. The list of innovation and transformation buzzwords keeps getting longer and longer. There is no end in sight. A circumstance that innovators should certainly not regret :-).
