I'm an early bird. Weekdays, my husband gets up super early and brings coffee back to bed. We chat for about 20 minutes before getting up. Mondays and Fridays, we shower and have a slow breakfast together before going to work. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays we get up even earlier and exercise before breakfast. I’m usually at work by 7:45.Weekends are the same, but we sleep in a bit and go for a longer exercise.

I have pondered this question for years, as it’s important to me, and the answer keeps changing, though subtly. At this point I believe that purpose is seeking to be fully aligned with Nature and your own unique human nature. For example, I felt fully aligned with Nature, felt I had an authentic purpose, when I became and devoted myself to being a mother. Now that I’m older, I feel my purpose is to help others become fully aligned with Nature.

The current push to make ecocide illegal is probably the closest thing I can think of. Basically, a business should cause net harm to Nature (including humans) — which includes extended impacts.
ABOVE THE LAW
Perseverance is relentlessly driving toward your vision, especially when challenges seem insurmountable or when you lose sight of what to do.
Responsibility is being clear about what needs to be done, what you need to do, and making sure it gets done.
Vulnerability is exposing yourself to potential fear, shame, embarrassment, or rejection in order to deepen a relationship, your understanding of yourself, or your understanding of the world.
Gratitude is explicitly recognizing how great the world is and how great you have it.
Curiosity is always wondering, knowing that the world is endlessly fascinating.
THE MISSING PIECE
Allowing myself to be triggered and trapped by the Conventional Paradigm, even though I knew better. I’m now learning (and teaching) how to let go of that to be my full, authentic, real, self. When I am able to do that, it’s so wonderful, freeing, expansive, and joyful.

I’m drawing a blank on specific movie titles, but I would like to play the role of God in one of the movies where someone goes through personal transformation because of engaging with God, though that was not what they were seeking to do.

Honestly, it’s really hard to be me! I’m constantly and ridiculously vision- and values-focused, and want others to be the same. Integrity is super important to me. It makes it hard to live and work in the “real world”. I’m also very physical yet have endless body problems, so I’m always struggling with pain. Having said that, my husband and (grown) kids are all amazing and my materials needs are all met, so I have the luxury of pursuing my purpose.
